From big weekly shops to last-minute chocolate runs, opening times will vary significantly across the bank holiday period with Easter Sunday once again the key day when most larger stores close their doors.

Across England and Wales and locally in Monmouthshire, the pattern is expected to remain consistent across major retailers:

  • Easter Saturday: Normal trading hours in most stores
  • Easter Sunday: Most large supermarkets closed
