THE most injured victim of London’s 7/7 bombings will host a deeply moving and inspiring evening at the Melville Theatre, Abergavenny, on Wednesday 23rd October at 7:30 PM.
An Evening with Dan Biddle offers the chance to hear the extraordinary story of a Monmouthshire man whose life was changed forever in the 7/7 London bombings.

Dan Biddle, who lives in Abergavenny, was the most seriously injured survivor of the attacks. In a moment of unimaginable tragedy, he lost both legs, his left eye, his spleen, and much of his hearing. Against overwhelming odds, he survived, though his journey through recovery was as much an emotional and psychological battle as a physical one. For years, Dan struggled with the aftermath of trauma, but nearly two decades later, he has found the strength and brutal honesty to tell his story in his new memoir, Back From the Dead: The Untold Story of the 7/7 Bombings.

The event will see Dan in conversation with journalist Phillipa Cherryson, offering audiences an unfiltered insight into his journey of resilience, survival, and finding purpose after trauma. A live Q&A will follow, giving attendees the opportunity to engage directly, before Dan signs copies of his book.
Tickets are priced at £10 (entry only) or £25 (entry + a copy of the book) and can be booked now through Book-ish. With strong local interest and limited seating, early booking is advised.
This promises to be an unforgettable evening – one that not only highlights the remarkable resilience of a local man, but also offers an inspiring message of hope and strength.
