Best Gastropub in Wales

The Hardwick in Abergavenny, has been named one of the best Gastropub in Britain, in the 2020 Estrella Damm list.

The Hardwick is the only Welsh pub featured on the list for the second year running, after being ranked in 7th place in 2019. The pub is owned by TV Celebrity chef, Stephen Terry and is is located just on the outskirts of Abergavenny.

The Estrella Damm awards is an annual list of the very best restaurants, in various categories,voted for by leading chefs, restaurateurs and food writers.

The restaurant has been a firm favourite in Monmouthshire for many years and has won many accolades in recent years. It’s impressive reputation and glowing reviews has made one of the counties must visit destinations for residents and visitors.
