Life on the NHS Frontline

An NHS worker has documented the daily realities of life on the frontline during the coronavirus pandemic at Abergavenny’s Nevill Hall Hospital.

Glenn Dene, a theatre operating department practitioner at the hospital, has documented the story of the pandemic from the eyes of those fighting the virus at the frontline. The touching words and moving pictures have been compiled into his new book “Behind The Mask”

The book follows the dedicated team of professional staff, with their eight-bed Intensive Care Unit and a recruits as they faced up to the challenge of COVID-19. 

All royalties from the book goes to NHS Charities including Wales Air Ambulance, so definitely one to buy to support theses great teams and get an insight of the hard work and selfless dedication that has gone on in our hospitals.
