The 17th February, marks Random Acts of Kindness Day

Since COVID-19 took hold in 2020 it has brought out the best in people around the world, from singing on their balconies in Italy to community groups shopping for the elderly and vulnerable, donating food parcels to those in need and toiletries to hospital patients.

Today marks Random Acts of Kindness Day. Here’s a few suggestions of what you could do.

*Call a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while.

*Make a cup of tea for someone you live with.

*Arrange to have a cup of tea and virtual catch up with someone you know.

*Help with a household chore at home.

*Send a motivational text to a friend who is struggling.

*Call a neighbour who is struggling with being isolated and lonely.

*Offer to send someone a takeaway or a meal.

*Donate to a charity.

*Send someone an inspirational quote.

*Tell someone you know why you are thankful for them.
