Your Views Sought for Radiotherapy Unit

Plans to establish a satellite radiotherapy unit at Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny, have moved a step closer. An outline business case for a £30 million pound centre has been approved by the Welsh Government.

Once opened thousands of cancel patients across the Aneurin Bevan Health board area will receive potentially life saving radiotherapy treatment at the new centre.

As part of the plans, patient’s input is now being sought to play a part in influencing its design. If you would like to have shape the final design, take the 10 minute survey in the link below.

We are delighted to report that the Nevill Hall Radiotherapy Satellite Centre (RSC) outline business case has been approved by the Welsh Government. The final business case will be submitted in the autumn in partnership with our partners, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. As part of our plans for the next phase we are seeking patient input into the final design so that it truly is a space that works for everyone. To help us with this, we have developed a short survey that takes less than 10 minutes to complete to gather your feedback and ideas which will make a big difference.
